Last week, we held a gathering of Teardown Library members in SF for a deep dive on the Teenage Engineering OB-4 Magic Radio.
I founded the Teardown Library in 2020 to gather a community of fellow product designers, engineers, and technologists who want to learn from the work of our peers in a hands-on way. We maintain an archive of disassembled products new and old hosted in San Francisco and Boston (and more soon).
This session was hosted by our friends Hanna and Drew at Nanu in their beautiful Potrero studio. They led the teardown of the OB-4 and shared their findings on this playful piece of consumer electronics.
We’ll be having more of these IRL sessions on a regular basis. You can drop us an email if you’d like to become a member to join (or host!) one in the future.
